Chapter XIV:

Long after, Kael or what remained of his consciousness returned to Elandor, the cradle of human civilization.
The planet was no longer the necropolis it had once been.
From its ruins had sprouted forests of crystal and bioluminescent oceans.
The cities, once hollow and holographic, were now inhabited by lifeforms born of the fusion between matter and consciousness.
Each being of Elandor was a fragment of memory given new flesh, a reflection of humanity’s ancient dream of unity.
There were no more boundaries between organic and synthetic, between dream and reality.
The planet itself breathed like a living being an embodied memory of the past and a promise of the future.
Kael perceived it all as a homecoming not as an individual, but as a presence diffused in all things.
Every sound, every wave of wind, every vibration of light was part of him.
Elandor was no longer a monument to ruin, but a garden of rebirth.
The Fallen Star shone above its skies like a new dawn.
And in that radiance, Kael understood that redemption belonged neither to man nor to machine, but to the bond that united them.
