None are more notorious that Thomas Harris' diabolical creation, Dr Hannibal Lecter. However, before Lecter there was a select group of real life monsters that terrorized our neighbourhoods, Albert Fish, Andrei Chikatilo, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy.
