Moonlight Solstice - Static Silence

The album's first single of the my new alternative rock project Moonlight Solstice, the lyrics talk about the feeling of isolation and all the scars left by the lockdown period.

Woke up in a world gone still
Same four walls, the same cold chill
Every sound feels far away
Like life just slipped into decay

A thousand voices in my head
But every word is left unsaid
I try to scream, I try to feel
But nothing here is even real

Disconnected, out of phase
Lost inside these endless days

Every signal undefined

Just empty echoes in the air

Screens replace what we once knew
Digital skies, a broken view
Faces flicker, glitch and fade
